Weapon Skins

Weapon skins are a category of cosmetic items that change the appearance of equipped weapons, similarly to costumes visually replacing replacing armor. They can be obtained through the Cash Shop, Crystal Chests, transmogrification, Battlepasses, and events.

Weapon skins are only compatible with specific types of weapons unless specified otherwise. If a weapon and its skin have conflicting types, the weapon will revert to its default non-cosmetic appearance.

All weapon skins can be sold in the inventory for 750 each.

Skin Boxes[]

Skin boxes are a source of weapon skins found in Battlepasses on the premium track from ranks 60 to 180 and in certain Crystal Chests. The icon of a skin box periodically cycles through its contents over a rotating striped circle that also periodically changes colors. When claimed, a skin box rewards the player with a random item from its specified contents. All possible rewards in a skin box have an equal chance of being given.

Similarly to Equipment Chests and Crystal Chests, skin boxes cannot be obtained in their original item form.

Trivia[]

The Zeronite weapon skins have the most variants out of all sets, with a total of 56 skins in 7 colors.
The Cogwork weapon skins were originally planned to be the legendary set of weapons in World 10, but were instead released as weapon skins alongside the Cogwork Armor, Tophat, Goggles, and Mask after the steampunk theme was scrapped.
The Draconic Spear is the only weapon skin in the Draconic Chest to not reuse the model of an existing weapon.
- The original model of the Draconic Spear is a recolored version of "Darkspire", an unused spear of unknown rarity intended to release alongside Dragoon. While using Dragon Wraith or Dragon Dance, Darkspire appears visually similar to the Draconic Spear.
Taurha's Staff is the only weapon skin to be dropped from a non-event dungeon.
The Kingslayer Longsword's blade was initially as wide as the hilt when teased in a sneak peek. It was later adjusted to be significantly thinner before its official release.
Skin Boxes are the only cosmetic items aside from Crystals that display a 6-star rarity rather than a "COSMETIC" text label.
