The Summoner is a Legendary Class unlocked at Prestige 2. Alternatively, it can be purchased at any level for Robux light 1200.

Overview[]

Summoner is a single-weapon staff class with skills focused on summoning minions to assist in battle. Attacking enemies as a Summoner has a 25% chance per hit to grant the player a soul, which appears as a small white orb that quickly travels towards the player. Each soul fills up 40% of the summon bar visible above the Summon attack icon (next to Rift Rifle on mobile), which is used to summon Lesser Summons as the bar is filled.

Tips and Tricks[]

  • Due to the nature of the Summons being separate entities from the player, they are not affected by perks. However, it is still important to independently deal damage without summons as they do not follow the player and quickly despawn without any enemies nearby.
  • It is strongly advised to dash once the summoning circles are visible while using Summon or Super Summon, as their long animations leave the player vulnerable to damage.
  • Rift Explosion is best used when Lesser Summons are about to despawn or be defeated by enemies, as it deals x2.64 the damage from their slash attacks.
    • Despite being able to be activated when a Greater Summon is active, Rift Explosion has no effect without spawning Lesser Summons.
  • As with other ranged classes, circling around enemies increases the effectiveness of Soul Harvest and attacks from Summons.
  • The Black Hole and Pumpkin Patch pet skills are strongly recommended for most situations, as it brings Summons to their maximum damage output by removing the need for them to chase enemies.

Trivia[]

  • Summoner is the first and currently one of the two classes capable of creating entities(Other being Necromancer).
  • Rift Rifle has the longest attack range out of all classes, at a range of 85 studs.
  • Summoner, Necromancer and Spirit Archer are the only three classes to utilize damage bars for abilities.
  • The icon for the Summon skill is a recolored version of Mage of Light's Infused Light with a black circle in its center.
  • For approximately 2 months after Summoner's release, Summons in Scarecrow Defense would attack the scarecrows if there were no enemies nearby, although they were unable to deal damage.
  • Since Summons are mobs, the gray (normal) and red (critical) colors are used when their damage numbers are displayed instead of orange (normal) and blue (critical) for players.
