Quests

Quests are a primary game mechanic in World // Zero and are divided into 4 different categories: world, side, daily, and weekly quests. Quests reward the player with items or experience when claimed and can be accessed by the sidebar/menu button or by pressing the "U" key.

Enemies spawned by bosses or encountered outside of the first world they appear in do not count towards quest progress.

World Quests[]

Menu QuestsTracker — The quest tracker automatically displaying the first world quest.

World quests are the primary focus of a player's objectives throughout the game. Objectives include defeating enemies, completing dungeons, and using the world teleporter. World quests are tied to their respective world and can only be completed in them or their dungeons, with the exception of teleporting to the next world.

Clicking the scope button next to each quest's action button tracks the quest in the quest tracker, which is visible in the top right corner of the screen in open worlds and event hubs. The tracker displays the quest's objective, progress, and rewards. When a quest is claimed from the tracker, it will automatically display the next available quest, prioritizing the world quests in the player's location. The quest tracker is not visible if all world and side quests are completed unless a daily or weekly quest is tracked.

Daily Quests[]

Daily quests are a set of 3 timed quests that refresh every day at 10:00 PM/22:00 UTC. Objectives can vary between defeating enemies and completing dungeons or world events. Daily quests reward pet food, an Equipment Chest, XP (turns into equipment chests at max level), and Battlepass XP during events when completed. Finishing a daily quest adds to the extra rewards progress bar, which resets after unlocking the last reward. Finishing all 3 daily quests adds to a decorative daily streak counter. If the player misses a day, the daily streak will lost and have to start over at 0 days.

The Crystal Chest rewarded upon completing 15 daily quests randomizes every Friday at 10:00 PM/22:00 UTC.

Weekly quests are a set of timed quests that refresh every Friday at 10:00 PM/22:00 UTC. Objectives can vary between completing dungeons or world events and other miscellaneous tasks, such as hatching pet eggs or dueling other players. Completing weekly quests gives the player "points" that unlock rewards when certain milestones are met. The same 6 weekly quests are given to all players each week, but an additional 4 quests can be unlocked with the VIP pass, allowing VIP players to earn up to 800 points and unlock an additional reward of 200.

Guild Quests[]

Guild Quests are a set of 3 timed quests that refresh every day at 10:00 PM/22:00 UTC. Guild Quests reward a set amount of Guild Points when completed, 25, 50, or 100 guild points. One of each reward amount is given each day. The same 3 quests are given to all members of any guild regardless of character level or guild tier.
