The Prison Tower, also known as "Tower 1", is a Level 70 tower in World 5.

Structure[]

The tower can be seen from spawn, which appears dark-red with many crystals and spikes that covers the boundary between the tower and environment and crystals near the tower's walls. Red sunrays are spread out from the tower in all directions no matter where you look at it from. When approaching the tower, you walk on a metal grate that leads you to the dungeon's teleporter, displaying two large doors with flames engraved onto it with a large eye just above the jamb. On your right shows small chest loot and the waystone you could use to teleport there.

Teleporting into the dungeon spawns you into a medieval-like room with blue torches and in front of you shows the mission gate with a locked door behind you which will not teleport you out of the dungeon. Touching the gate begins the tower, and you'll appear just outside the wave defense floor. Dropping down shows large chains stretching from the arena platform to the ceiling and smaller chains even hanging from the ceiling grate can be seen. Prison cells will surround the room, appearing empty as monsters spawn from all directions.

On the final floor, both the entry and arena itself has you walking on a metal grate with lava underneath. Just infront of you is the large boss door which is layered with neon orange colors. Approaching the door opens, and the arena is massive, with some areas exposed to lava pools that you cannot walk on. Details such as some spewing lava bubbles occasionally appear on the grates, which deal no damage.

Wave Defense[]

Floors 1 - 4 are wave defense floors, where players must defeat a series of mobs that continuously spawn across five waves. You start a floor with "Wave defense starting!" and eventually "MONSTERS INCOMING", and after certain conditions are met the "ADDITIONAL MONSTERS INCOMING" message appears. The final wave will always say "Defeat the remaining enemies!". Floors 2 to 4 will begin to spawn the Shield of Ignis miniboss at the final wave with the 4th floor spawning two instead of one. A small timer with chest icons appear, which acts as a challenge. Clearing all enemies within the timer rewards another chest for the final floor, with a maximum of 4 additional chests.

The structure below displays whenever the next wave starts should the player not attack any enemy:

Wave 1: 2:05 - 5 mobs
Wave 2: 1:45 - 8 mobs
Wave 3: 1:22 - 10 mobs
Wave 4: 1:00 - 12 mobs
Wave 5: 0:37 - 15 mobs

After a floor is cleared, 1 - 3 tower chests may appear along with 2 equipment chests that only drop Tier 1 - 4 gear, with one being opened with the Extra Item Drop pass.

Boss Arena[]

Floor 5 contains a boss fight against Ignis, Fire Dragon. Once he has been defeated, chests appear circling the center should the player complete the floor challenges and players who are dead are revived to claim their loot. After 40 seconds, all players are returned to World 5.

Trivia[]

  • The Prison Tower loading screen is an image of a four-way intersection room in a maze floor.
  • Maze floors in the Prison Tower had "trap rooms" where a fake tower chest would be in the center of a room, closing off both the entrance and exit to the room when opened. Multiple mobs would spawn within the trap room once closed off.
    • A real tower chest would occasionally spawn on the opposite side of the fake tower chest.
  • Three of the Prison Tower's minibosses have been moved to other locations in World 5 after it was converted to the wave defense system.
  • The Prison Tower is the only tower to use a unique tower chest model.
