Necromancer is a Mastery class unlocked by clearing 150 Nightmare difficulty dungeons as a Demon. Alternatively, it can be purchased at any level for 1,399.
Overview[]
While Demon is designed solely for self-sustainability from its incredible life-stealing and damage output, Necromancer inherits both Demon and Summoner strengths. It possesses powerful damaging skills with one casting an effect known as Hexed which not only deals DOT damage but all damage received from that enemy is reduced by 35%, excluding status damage.
The ultimate, Undead Army, is the only trait from Summoner which spawns 7 Undead Knights that act similarly to the Ghoul Knights except are faster and inflict both Hexed and Fear. They also have much more health than Summoner's lesser summons. Combined with with hex's effects of reduce damage received and their health count can be more higher.
Tips and Tricks[]
- Hexed allows you to tank a lot of damage. Just keep in mind reduction from other sources do not multiply into the reduced damage. Meaning that the reduction on the enemy is calculated first before applying the reduction from your armor, skill or pet.[1]
- The skillset is powerful enough to allow almost any build to operate well. You don't neccessarily have to run glass armor, since Spirit Burst's damage at max capacity can inflict enough damage to one shot most mob enemies at Level 150. It's also that you'll be using your Ultimate in the boss fight and a lot of the damage comes from your knights.
- White Foxdeer, Vane, Fallen King & Klaus are the main top pets for this class since they either deal a lot of damage or support the player and their minions.

- This is the third class to have an charged ability, which Spirit Archer and Summoner were the only two prior.
- This is also the second class after Summoner to spawn minions, which they deal only mob damage to ensure it is not affected by perks.
