Darkrise, Father of Dragons is the second main boss in the Vane's Lair's Challenge mode in the event world Dragon Town, he appears shortly after Vane is defeated. He has the same model as other old dragons such as Winterfall and Ignis, but with black wings and purple spikes.

Strategies[]

After Vane is defeated, move away from the center immediately before Darkrise can smash players to death.
It's highly unrecommended to use armors with Glass Perk in challenge difficulty, as almost all of the attacks can one-shot the player without any assistance. Unless you're good at dodging all of its attacks or having shield-related abilities.
Unlike Vane, Darkrise has a rather short ability trigger range, so Classes like Spirit Archer or Hunter are extremely good against him as players can simply move and attack without him doing any attacks at all, while Hunter can also use its familiars and Venom Trap to stall Darkrise even further.
- The only thing that these classes still need to be wary of is the lightning strike.

Trivia[]

Darkrise has been archived for a very long time and can only be spawned by admin commands. It also had the same ability with Ignis before the remake.
According to the game, Darkrise is a Tower Boss even though it was meant for the Halloween Event before it was released.
The voiceline when Darkrise spawns is: "I will eat you alive."
- Darkrise is the first and currently the only enemy to receive a voiceline in the game.
