The Celestial Tower is a special version of towers that contains 100 floors introduced in the Celestial Tower Release (August 11, 2023). The Celestial Tower can be started in any world and has a level requirement of 1. It is functionally similar to the Infinite Tower, but ends at Floor 100 instead of continuing indefinitely.
Structure[]
Unlike normal towers, there is no beginning room; once all players are in the server, a countdown to begin the first floor automatically starts. All players have one life on all floors, and if the player dies on any floor, they will respawn after the current floor has been cleared if other party members are still alive.
The Celestial Tower starts at the average level of all party members, at a minimum of Floor 1 or maximum of Floor 75. The arenas will occasionally change through themes every 5 floors—void (default), inferno (orange), and poison (green)—and will slightly shift through theme colors after each floor.
Enemies that spawn will vary based on the current tower floor. Starting at Floor 1, mobs in wave defense floors and the boss at Floor 5 and Floor 10 will spawn exclusively from World 1. See the list below for sections of the tower with their corresponding worlds.
- Floors 1-10: World 1
- Floors 11-20: World 2
- Floors 21-30: World 3
- Floors 31-40: World 4
- Floors 41-50: World 5
- Floors 51-60: World 6
- Floors 61-70: World 7
- Floors 71-80: World 8
- Floors 81-90: World 9
- Floors 91-100: World 10
Enemies found in events or with unique functions that are incompatible with the arena are blacklisted from spawning.[1]
The tower abruptly ends at Floor 100, rewarding the same equipment as other boss floors. Players are teleported to World 1 after the final countdown ends.
Wave Defense[]
Wave defense floors function similarly to normal towers, but the timer for the extra chest on the boss floor is removed. Players must defeat mobs that spawn randomly near the edge of the arena, with another spawning in a random location after each one is defeated. Unlike normal towers, stationary mobs such as Aether Flower can spawn, requiring players to actively move around the arena. Elites have a 5% chance of spawning at the start of the tower, increasing by 1% every 5 floors.
Each floor spawns a total of 15 mobs. In a party, each additional player adds +5 mobs to the objective, up to 35 mobs per floor. Once all mobs are defeated, a floor exit appears on the other end of the arena and a countdown automatically begins to enter the next floor.
Boss Floors[]
Players will encounter either 1 or 2 random bosses on every 5th floor. After a player reaches the center of the arena, the boss will spawn and is required to defeat in order to progress further. boss must be defeated within 3 minutes or else all players are automatically killed. Minibosses and most of the world event bosses spawn on boss floors ending with 5, while dungeon, tower bosses and some of the world event bosses spawn on boss floors ending with 0.
In parties with 3-4 players, up to 4 bosses will spawn on each boss floor, and up to 6 bosses will spawn with parties of 5 players. Bosses at Floor 95 and 100 will often match the same world or mob type (Cerberus and Shadow of Cerberus from World 2, or Winterfall, Ignis, and Vane, all being dragons).
The following bosses add additional time to defeat due to mechanics in their boss fights:
- Taurha, Ruined Giant: +2 minutes 40 seconds
- Winterfall, Ice Dragon: +2 minutes
- Ignis, Fire Dragon: +2 minutes
- Vane, Aether Dragon: +2 minutes
